In light of Cosmo’s recent post, I thought I might share a few more photos of the real ‘Mo’. Also, even though I do not know the exact day of her birth, September is likely her birth month, and she is 14 years old this month!
Pssst…..don’t tell Cosmo, she will not be overly happy that I shared these ‘not so princess’ moments of her.
First up, we have the “Tired Princess”. She almost looks slightly, ummm, deceased in this photo, but I assure you, she just happened to stretch, and fall back asleep hanging out of her princess platform.
Now, she will really be upset at me for showing this one, where I tried to get her to wear an angel costume. She is not giving me a very angelic look I must say.
Here she is as a ‘young’n', playing with one of her most fav toys, a tennis ball. She looks so teeny here compared to the ball. I had to dig into old photos and scan a few of these in. This one is from almost 14 years ago!
Speaking of old photos when she was young, she had a habit of getting into trouble, and subsequently would need a bath. Luckily its probably been 12 years since her last bath. She looks none too happy here.
Here is a very unprincess-like yawn.
Well, before I get in trouble, one last picture. She looks more princess like here….”you may clean me noisy boy cat”…

One more tidbit about miss Cosmo. When she was just a lil’ bit, some 14 years ago, she had a habit of turning around in a fit of excitement and running into walls. One day, while the TV show Seinfeld was on (this would have been in the height of that series), she did her usual playful turn and ran smack into a wall. Exactly at the same time Cosmo Kramer ran into the wall in Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment. THAT is where Cosmo got her name, luckily she grew out of her wall ramming habit though.

Wonderful photos, great storyline. Cheers for Cosmo!
Hey! We have the same angel costume. We got it last year for halloween, but none of us enjoyed wearing it.
We are glad to hear she grew out of the wall ramming, MOL!
No one around here likes mum’s costumes…..I still continue to buy one now and again, but most are only on long enough for a tortured photo. Even the bengal who tolerates almost anything usually tears off whatever I put on him (if he can), and then proceeds to drag it around the house and destroy it. No Fun!
Hi! I was surfing and found your blog post… nice! I love your blog.
Cheers! Sandra. R.
Oh, those are lovely photos of Cosmo. We love how she got her name. But we’re happy she no longer bangs into walls. MOL
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Ha, we love how the princess got her name!
We laughed seeing the pictures of wet and dead Cosmo. Happy belated birthday sweetie. We hope you get many happy and healthy years ahead of you.
