On a positive note, BIG B IS BACK. Bayou is still a hair sniffely (not really a word), but he is feeling pretty much 100% now. So I do get to come home and to kisses and hugs from my Bayou Boy again! Although the downside to having a cuddly AND sniffley boy, I am in the firing line when he sneezes.

Update: Visited Asia, she was still comfortable, but no go on eating. She sniffed, then was instantly foamy and drooling. BAH. Moved her so the vet could take a look, and again, instantly wanted to vomit. Her abdomen really cannot be touched without insta-nausea. We may do an ultrasound again either tonight or first thing in the AM, just in case something was missed. We can control all we want the pain and nausea levels with drugs, but after four days there is just no improvement. If it was just gastritis or something toxic she ate you would hope by now for some signs things were improving. So back to looking for a cause.

Love the talky talking. Cat with attitude. As Poupounette said, maybe there is a connection between bayou’s illness and Asia’s.
Fingers and toes crossed tightly for Miss Asia…at least Bayou is over the hump.

Hope they find something soon!!!
We’re very glad to read and see that Bayou is better.
Continued purrs and Light for Asia. Kitty kisses from us and hugs from our mom.
We are so sorry that Asia is so unwell. Has the vet run a toxicology blood panel? The Poison Control people may be worth contacting if only to explore if her symptoms match with any known toxins. We wondered too if it might be worth contacting the manufacturer of the food she ate on Wednesday to check if there have been any issues? We hope that the vets can figure out a way to help her very soon. Sending rumbly purrs

Wow! What an eventful few days…with no solutions yet I’m sorry to read. I’ve caught up on all the Asia posts, now. You would think that at leas the pocket of something would be moving along a bit if it is not an obstruction. I might think they’d want to “go in there” and see what that pocket is full of since that appears to be the problem…I don’t know, just reaching and sad to hear she continues to be ill.
I am glad Bayou is feeling better.
Thank you so much for taking time to update us while you are dealing with this.
