My goofy rescue boy who HATES the camera
He has such a gorgeous marble pattern on him, its sometimes hard to catch the light just right so you can see it. I wish the computer had ‘feel-o-vision’, because his coat is the softest thing ever!
I knew VERY little about bengals that day I walked into the rescue to offer a foster home for him 9 years ago. It only took about 10 seconds to be completely smitten. Foster….pbbbt!
I have no idea why someone would give him up. He is sometimes a bit rambunctious, and its quite a noise when he gets to thumping around in a game of chase. But he is also the sweetest guy on the planet who has never met a person he doesn’t love. Not to mention his patience with kittens!
Well, he can get a little destructive when he jumps on tall furniture with those manly claws and our banister looks a bit rough. And 9 years ago he was a lot more noisy….and even more energetic….and I seem to recall quite a few cabinet raids where I came home to bird seed everywhere, or flour, or…..
Okay, maybe there are people not quite prepared for an active bengal, lol.
Sometimes it’s hard to get good shots of him. He tends to shut down and just squint when the camera comes out.
I love it when he forgets I am there and is his normal bouncy silly self.
He is not overly graceful and at 13 pounds of solid muscle he is quite powerful. But he is just a kitten at heart, and you cannot help but laugh when he is tossing a teeny mouse around.

Wow, I can’t believe anyone would have given him up. What’s a little mischief for a fabulous cat? He definitely lucked out the day you agreed to “foster” him.

You really captured his swirls in this post — usually we see him under Miss Mia or around her or using that devil-left-foot. He is truly spectacular, as well as a nice guy who puts up with a lot !

Bayou what a beautiful mancat you are. I don’t believe you could get into trouble … not for a moment!! You are such a wonderful big brother for Mia and clearly your mom adores you with all her heart. I too can’t understand how anyone could give you up; but it was meant to be sweetie because now you have the life you were destined to have with loving purrents and fantastic fursibs.
By the way, Eve (also a Bengal but a little mixed) shares your exuberance for life and thinks you are absolutely fabulous!!
