Is that really a ball in your ear?

Why yes it is.

I was trying to take some new action shots this morning and saw this one in the series when cleaning off the card. First we have a ping pong ball on the nose, and now in the ear.

Here was the photo taken directly before the ball ended up on her head…

When Mia and Bayou decide to wrestle on the tile, all I can do is cringe….OUCH. Those thumps you her are mostly Bayou’s hips hitting the ground!

But they don’t seem to mind. Mia takes the laying down angle, Bayou the back foot in face technique (what exactly that is I do not know).

Even though Miss Mia is more of a land lubber, preferring to zoom and chase with all four feet on the ground, occasionally I can get her airborne for a few shots.

The shots are not as clear as I would like, does anyone want to come by and be my ‘wand assistant’ while I take the pics??

Motorcycle Rider?? Vroom Vroom!

Didn’t Tigger from Winnie the Pooh used to bounce around on his tail? This pic reminds me of that!

I wrangled up some inexpensive light stands and covers yesterday and played around with a homemade budget photo studio. I still need to do a lot of work and research (seriously, photography study just makes my head spin!), play with different types of lights, backgrounds…blah blah blah.

Oh, and Mia the ornery has never really had any clicker training so getting her to sit still was impossible, so guess I will have to work on that.

BUT, in the meantime I wanted to share a sneak peek of a couple shots I got last night.

(Bayou refused to look at me unless he was squinting….so I took looking up instead)
